AMD Ryzen 7 2700X // AMD Radeon RX 6600 8GB // XPG 16GB 3200MHz
Great entry level system for light to moderate gaming!
The Ryzen 7 2700X offers excellent multitasking performance for the budget, despite being only a zen+ second generation CPU from AMD. With 8-cores and 16 threads, the 2700X can offer you the multitasking performance to dabble into something like streaming while still providing gaming performance comparable to a newer Ryzen 5 3600. And with a platform like AM4, upgrading this B450 motherboard to the current newest Ryzen 5000-series CPUs is fairly easy.
The RX 6600 8GB trades blows with the RTX 3060. These two will outperform each other depending on the game you are playing. It is fair to say that they are competing to fill in the same market gap. The RX 6600 provides a perfect experience for e-sports gaming and will definitely hang in most AAA titles at 1080p. Refer to the linked video for examples of the performance expected in some games.
